Day 24: Congrats Spain!

Hello World.

Congrats Spain for winning that dream trophy... congrats Paul for foretelling it perfectly... congrats Germany for restraining themselves from putting Paul into Sea-food menus.

I am sorry, but I couldn't stay awake after the 1st 15 minute Extra time finished since Spain & Netherland still hadn't shoot into the net yet. Well, I didn't miss much!

I know the Spain fans would be very enthusiastic about this win, but most football fanatics were disappointed by the shocking OutComes (i.e. the teams Coming Out ;)) at every level of this year's FIFA. None of the top favorites made it to the final. Except Germany, none of them touched even Semi-final! Well... maybe that's how balance works!

Moving ahead... I hope you like teen dramas, because I am going to recommend one today. It's a TV movie of 2002 - Bang Bang You're Dead.

The movie starts in a stereotypical high school with stereotypical groups of kids. Our hero Trevor, is an outcast, specially after he announced a fake bomb threat in the school. He is regularly trash-canned along with other "dorks" or "losers", (God knows who decides how to put those labels!), and everyone, including the parents and teachers are okay with it, which is a form of essential "Tough Love" to them and is needed to man up the kids. Things get more heated up when Trevor is selected for he lead role in a rebellious School Play named "Bang Bang You're Dead". People start to look up and object to the play or their kids being involved in that. Trevor is in a mess, when he unknowingly befriends an outcast group, who have their own way to teach a lesson to all those who has been bad to them.

And ...Nothing will get better, until everybody learn to surpass their own crippled mindsets and look Trevor's actions through his eyes.

It's a beautiful movie, specially for parents and teachers, who think fear is the only way to get things done by kids... and for kids who think insulting people who are different than them is the only way to treat them. It really will alter some perceptions!

Well... time to log out. Looking forward to more followers... Good night!
