Day 19: Pushing Forward

Yes, I am pushing myself forward everyday.

Well, in a way, isn't everyone else doing the same? Pushing to work the relation one more year, pushing to work one more month in the same repelling workplace, pushing to run the month one more day with empty pockets... pushing to hold tight the will to live.

So, in that sense, we have a lot in common. I am sharing my bits, and so should you.

Anyway, (why do I start with these heavy talks every day?) lets make things lighter and go straight to our fun section.

Today I will (again) discuss about a movie that's not very popular, neither is the hero. The movie I'm talking about is - Infestation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infestation_%282009_film%29).

It's a routine alien infestation story where, Cooper (Chris Marquette), our semi-nerdy semi-loser protagonist is about to be fired when hell breaks lose and everybody is attacked with an ultra-sonic sound, making them unconscious. Cooper wakes up hours later stuck in a web, and tries to wake up a few people in the same fate, when he is attacked by a giant bug! What follows is a hilariously dangerous misadventure of a group led by Cooper and the potential solution to his dating issues, Sara, the boss's daughter.

There is nothing new in terms of CGI or depiction of alien bugs, but that's the point. The aliens are the secondary topic in this movie, while Cooper's relationship problems, career issues and Dad's indifference take the front seat.

It's a lovely movie, if you aren't expecting Cameron's Aliens or Spielberg's War of The Worlds... a 90 minutes fun ride, that will not bore you even for a second!

Sometimes, we should take it light.

Time to go, people, see you tomorrow!
